Book Launch + Film Screening
15th June 2016 – 7pm

Join artist Maeve Brennan in a special screening of the film "The Embroiderers", commissioned for this exhibition. The evening will also mark the formal launch of the At the Seams publication written by curator Rachel Dedman, including photography by Tanya Traboulsi. Both the book and the film are the result of years of research and fieldwork.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the artist and the curator.

انضموا إلى الفنانة مايف برينان في أمسية خاصّة تشاهدون خلالها فيلم «المطرِّزات» الذي أنتجته مايف خصّيصاً لهذا المعرض. كما ستشهد الأمسية الحفل الرسمي لإطلاق كتاب 'أطراف الخيوط' لمؤلفته قيمة المعرض رايتشل ديدمان والمحتوي على صوراً جديدة لتانيا طرابلسي.

الفيلم والكتاب هما ثمرة سنين من البحث والعمل الميداني.
وسَيَلي العرض نقاش مفتوح مع مخرجة الفيلم وقيمة المعرض.
