Le Bazar de Lazare is an alternative, cultural café located in the heart of Al Aizarieh (Bethany) Old City, near Lazarus' tomb. In support of a women's cooperative -Jerusalem Hills- producing food and embroidery, it is dedicated to supporting women's sustainable empowerment and the local Palestinian economy. It is composed of a café serving hot and cold drinks, fresh juices, and above all, crepes and waffles, as well as a bazaar selling Jerusalem Hills products (6 kinds of jams and 3 kinds of labaneh) and local, Palestinian products (Ceramics, embroidery). The venue is also home to cultural events and exhibitions, a reflexion of Palestine's arts industry.
