حوار الفنان/ة مع منال محاميد

يسر جاليري ١ بدعوتكم لحضور حوار ونقاش للفنانة منال محاميد مع القيّم د.حسني شحادة والفنان خالد حوارني في مقهى كراج. سوف يدور النقاش حول عملية البحث التي تخوضها منال محاميد بحياتها اليومية للوصول إلى نتاجها الفني، فهي تعبر من خلال مشاريعها عن المفاهيم والمواضيع التي أثرت على عملها كالحيز الجغرافي، وارتباطه بأليات اجتماعية سياسية، والعمل مع مفهوم الأيقونة وإعادة صياغتها من خلال رؤية فنية متعددة الوسائط لتربط ما بين عملية التلقي والإنتاج. وكما سيدور النقاش حول الحيز العام والحيز الخاص وموضوع الهوية الفنية وارتباطها بتقاطعات الهوية العامة علماً انها سوف تربط النقاش بمعرضها الحالي "وقْغُ الغزال" القائم في جاليري ١.

Artist Talk with Manal Mahamid

Gallery One is pleased to invite you to an artist talk for the artist Manal Mahamid taking place with the curator Dr. Housni Shehadeh and the artist Khaled Hourani at Garage Café. The talk will be about the research processes that Manal Mahamid undertakes in her daily life to reach the level of artistic productions she reaches. Through her projects, she works with concepts and themes that have affected her art such as the geographical domain and its relation to political and social mechanisms as well as working with the concept of iconography and the reconstruction of it through a multi-disciplinary artistic view that links the procedure of obtainment to that of production. Additionally, the talk will go into the public and private space and the meaning of an artistic identity and how it is linked with identity.
