Open Studios in collaboration with Zawyeh Gallery give you the opportunity to see latest art works, and paintings in progress by the artists, in an open invitation to visit their working studios.
Sliman Mansour - on view will be new works by the artist who has for several decades continually explored the question of homeland, the experience of longing and belonging and distilled the ongoing transformation of the Palestinian landscape.
Nabil Anani - on view will be works that portray the people whose lives are intimately connected to the land, to its subtle modulations of light and shadow, the daily sunrises and sunsets and the seasonal rhythms. The men, women and children who have lived and worked on this land have strived to preserve its cultural heritage and protect it from theft and appropriation.
Jawad Al Malhi - on view will be the Measures of Uncertainty series, which explores the moment after solidarity dissipates and "everything melts into thin air" a moment that is filled with uncertainty and trepidation, which undulates in the gestures of the disintegrating crowd a reflection on our contemporary condition.
