Fast Forward is the first accelerator in Palestine. Fast Forward’s ultimate goal is to stimulate the Palestinian economy by developing it’s business sector and empower Palestinian’s to tap their creativity and innovation with the hope that it will bring about a better Palestine and a better world. Still in it’s first year of existence Fast Forward has already been the difference maker for 8 start-ups who had great ideas, but lacked the tools to turn their plans into action. Under the umbrella of the Leaders Organization, Fast Forward Accelerator provides motivated start-ups with Seed Funding of $50,000, top of the line office space and technology, access to highly experienced mentors, one on one sessions with experts from a multitude of professional sectors, and an extensive educational library. Two members of each start-up travel to the Palestine House in Silicon Valley, where they will experience the dynamics of the tech entrepreneurship community in the US, and get the opportunity to meet venture-capitalists and investors. Not only does Fast Forward provide start-ups with the means necessary to get their business off the ground they also ensure sustainability through education. Fast Forward brings top professionals from the US to come to Ramallah to give presentations on all aspects of business to members of our startups. All of this is housed in the eZone, the hub of Palestine’s most exciting startups. This space is allocated to a set of services designed to support entrepreneurship including incubation, acceleration, business meetings and event space, and an entrepreneurs Café. From now until June 9th we are receiving applications for our 3rd round of start up acceleration, after which the four most qualified start-ups will be chosen.
