You are invited to attend the lecture "Eudaimonia: Past, Present and Future" which will take place on Monday, March 5th from 17:15 till 18:15 at the Cinema Hall, QCenter, Rawabi.
The lecture will be held by Professors James Otteson, Adam Hyde and Randall Rogan, from Wake Forest University, USA.
The subject of the lecture is Eudaimonia, the Greek concept of human flourishing. Professors Otteson, Hyde and Rogan will explore this concept by investigating the historical, contemporary and future-oriented manifestations of human wellness. Professor Otteson will speak on the notion of virtuous and honorable business; Professor Hyde will speak on the economic aspects of the contemporary human condition; and Professor Rogan will speak on the recent trends in human flourishing, with particular attention to the conditions necessary to maintain this pattern of improvement.
