The idea of establishing a tourism project in historical Solomon Pools was emerged from Jihad Sharif , a Palestinian Lawyer from Hebron. He reached an agreement with the Islamic Waqf to lease the property of Solomon Pools, including the historical pools and Castle. In 1997, Solomon Pools Company was founded as part of an innovative and dynamic initiative by Palestinian entrepreneurs in partnership with the Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC), a longstanding construction firm in the Middle East for over fifty years, owned by Mr. Said Khoury and Mr. Hasib Sabbagh. The idea behind is to make Solomon Pools one of the premier tourist destinations in Palestine.
