Opened in the autumn of 2009, our cafe started from a passion for espresso. Owners Saleh and Morgan designed a simple but quality menu filled with all their favorite foods and drinks.
They decided to develop their organic garden for the benefit of their customers and friends. It started by producing fresh eggs in the back and harvesting their fruit trees for cakes and pies. Then they expanded and built a rooftop garden to provide the restaurant with produce and honey. And it just kept going...until La Vie became something of a farm-cafe.
We think that La Vie is an inviting place. In the winter we have a wood burning stove and in the summer we open our garden.
There's a full bar and kitchen as well as a great selection of homemade cakes and pies. Everything is made with the freshest ingredients, organic from our yard whenever possible--which is increasingly often!
