يحل في الرابع والخامس من تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2016 جيم أفجنون، فنان الشوارع الألماني، ضيفاً على معهد جوته رام الله ليشرف على ورشتي عمل خاصتين بفن الشوارع.
وقد لقي عمله المتميز بسرعة غير المألوفة صدى كبيراً ليس فقط في ألمانيا، وإنما في المشهد الفني العالمي: فباستطاعته إنجاز 200 صورة من القطع الكبير خلال ثلاثة أسابيع. فقد أنجز في ليلتين فقط عملاً يغطي 500 يارداً مربعاً لحساب جامعة فرانكفورت. ويركز الفنان المقيم في برلين بشكل خاص على أن تكون لوحاته في متناول الناس العاديين خارج نطاق المؤسسة الفنية الرسمية. فعلى سبيل المثال يمكن مشاهدة أعماله الفنية في لقاءات النوادي وحفلات التكنو الموسيقية.

On the 4th and 5th of October 2016 the German street artist Jim Avignon (http://www.jimavignon.com/) will be a guest of the Goethe-Institut in Ramallah and give a two-day workshop about Street Art.
With the exceptional speed of his work Jim Avignon did not only find great recognition in Germany, but also in the international art scene: He can finish 200 large format pictures within 3 weeks. In only 2 nights he produced a work covering more than 500 square yards for Frankfurt University. The Berlin-based artist especially puts emphasis on the availability of his paintings to ordinary people outside the formal art establishment. His art works can for instance be found in club functions and Techno parties.
