Startup Weekend is a 54-hour weekend event, Thursday through Saturday, during which teams with backgrounds and skills including but not limited to software development, business, marketing, and design, among others, embrace the enthusiasm and energy of entrepreneurship and problem solving pitching ideas for new startup companies, form teams around those ideas, and work to develop a working prototype, demo, or presentation by Saturday evening.
