Suad Amiry will be presenting her newly published book "My Damascus". A captivating portray of a great city, and those fascinating individuals from the Baroudi family (Suad's grandfather) who lived in early 20th-century Damascus.

The event will be at the garden of Riwaq, in Al-Bireh, Ramallah, at 6pm on Thursday the 25th August. Salim Tamari will also join us as a discussant.

It time to tell a story about Syria that is not of war and death, but rather is about family and mundane, snapshots of domestic life, with all the charm and hardship, the love and the betrayal.
