Bethlehem, just 10km south of Jerusalem, is another world. Not an oriental city, Bethlehem is rather a complex village which became a city only in the 19th century. Seven historical quarters hide secrets and insights you will discover with Palestinian guides.

Iftar: Iftar is the meal served at sunset during Ramadan, as Muslims break the daily fast. Muslims traditionally first break the fast with dates and either water or a yogurt drink. After maghreb prayer, In some cultures, the full-course meal is delayed into later in the evening or even early morning. Traditional foods vary by country. so after the tour you are welcome to join the Iftar at VP cafe in Bethlehem

Tour Details: Star Street, Hrezat Quarter, Manger Square, Kawawseh Quarter, Najajreh Quarter, the market, Farahiyeh Quarter, Fawagreh Quarter, Dar Annadawa.

- All the walk is pedestrian.

- Introduction to Bethlehem and the tour at the starting point.

- The seven historical quarters: Discover the charm of the oldest cores of the different quarters away from main streets, like Kawawseh and Najajreh. Learn about the traditional architecture, built by families and clans still remembered in the names of the houses and courtyards.
- The market: Enjoy its fascinating atmosphere. In our visit to the vegetable market we observe business and people. Walking through the shopping streets the globalization gets practical.
- The Lutheran Compound and Dar Annadwa: Learn about the changes that came to Bethlehem since the 19th century. Discover Civil Society contributions to state building and their efforts for change.
