يسر جاليري 1 دعوتكم لحضور حوار ونقاش للفنان منذر جوابرة مع القيّمة رلى خوري حول سلسلة أعماله الفنية القائمة ضمن معرضه الحالي "زمن مكسور" في قاعات جاليري 1. وسيتمحور النقاش حول فلسفة المعرض والمواد والتقنيات التي استخدمها في تكوين هذه الأعمال الفنية.

منذر جوابرة ولد عام 1976 في مخيم العروب في مدينة بيت لحم في الضفة الغربية. وهو حاصل على درجة البكالوريوس في الفنون الجميلة من جامعة النجاح الوطنية في مدينة نابلس. وشارك في العديد من المعارض الفردية والجماعية على الصعيدين المحلي والدولي بما في ذلك ألمانيا والمملكة المتحدة والنرويج واليابان وسوريا وغيرها.
وبموهبة فنية واضحة المعالم وتحكم واثق بتقنيات الرسم تأسر لوحات منذر جوابرة في داخلها التعابير الإنسانية. كما أن تنسيق ألوانه الرائع وتراكيب لوحاته المتقن يتطلب انتباهاً عميقاً وفحصاً دقيقاً حيث تبدأ حينها الأشكال والقصص والرسائل بالبروز بكل دقة وتأثير روحي.
ولدت رلى خوري عام 1982 في حيفا. تعمل قيّمة، مؤرّخة للفن وناقدة فنية. حازت اللقب الثاني في تاريخ الفن من جامعة حيفا عام 2011. عملت مديرة فنية لمركز خليل السكاكيني الثقافي في العام 2014. وكانت قيّمة لمعرضي منام وإنتفاضة فنية في بينالي قلنديا الدولي 2014. تعيش خوري اليوم في نيويورك حيث تدرس لنيل اللقب الثاني من أكاديمية الفنون البصرية، فـي كتابة النقــد الفني.
Artist Talk with Monther Jawabreh
Gallery One is pleased to invite you to attend an artist talk for the artist Monther Jawabreh taking place with the curator Rula Khouri at Gallery One. They will speak about his artworks that are currently being exhibited at Gallery One as part of The Fractured Time exhibit. The debate will mainly go into speaking about the philosophy of the exhibit and the materials and techniques he used to produce such artworks.

Born in 1976 in Al Aroub refugee camp in Bethlehem, West Bank. Monther Jawabreh graduated from Al Najah University in Nablus with a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts. He participated in a number of solo and group exhibitions locally and internationally including Germany, UK, Norway, Japan, Syria and others.
With an impeccable artistic talent and a solid command of techniques, Jawabreh’s paintings are highly captivating human expressions. His fabulous color coordination and sophisticated compositions require deep attention and careful examination, upon which shapes, stories and messages begin to emerge that are nuanced yet full of soulful impact.
Rula Khoury was born in Haifa in 1982. She is a curator, art historian and art critic.She received a Masters degree in art history from Haifa University (2011). Khoury was the artistic director of Khalil Sakakini Culture Center (2014). She was the curator of "Manam" and "Mapping Procession" at the Qalandiya International Biennale (2014). Currently Khoury lives in New York City, where she is pursuing a Masters degree in Writing Art Criticism from the School of Visual Arts.
