About Zach:
It was a (most likely dark and stormy) night, about 5 years ago, when Zach Brass was in college that he wandered into a dormitory lounge where people were dancing and accidentally fell in love with it. Ever since then, he's put his pure, unbridled enthusiasm into dancing and teaching both lindy hop and blues dancing. He's danced around the world, from Montreal to Glasgow, but is passionate about developing the local scene in Boston. As a teacher, Zach is always looking to make sure everyone walking into a class for the first time not only learns, but also relaxes enough to have a great time. You can find him on the social floor dancing both lead and follow (and encouraging everyone to try it). As he puts it, "Dancing ruined my life in the best way possible!"

What is Swing?
Swing was a popular dance from the 1920s to 1950s, and it saw a huge revival over the last 2 decades all over the world, because this dance is great fun and swing music just makes you happy. And since more than two years, there is a swing dancing community also in Palestine!
The term swing comprises of a range of dances, such as Lindy Hop, Charleston, Balboa and more. We will learn a mix of these dances, but mainly Lindy Hop and Charleston.
