The Bethlehem Destination Christmas (BDC) initiative was founded by a group of people, representing prominent Bethlehem institutions, who are keen to devote their shared enthusiasm and contribute their manifold ideas and experiences to the common goal of repositioning Bethlehem as an essential Christmas icon & ultimate Christmas destination.

The Oslo Philharmonic Choir
The Oslo Philharmonic Choir is the choir of the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra. Regarded as one of the leading symphonic choirs in Scandinavia, the 100-strong choir continues to reap critical acclaim from critics, audiences and conductors.

The choir has performed over 170 concerts with the Oslo Philharmonic over the past 10 years ,with leading conductors such as as Vasily Petrenko, Harry Bicket, Andrew Manze and most recently Jukka-Pekka Saraste. The choir has collaborated on several recordings and featured on recent international TV broadcasts of Verdi´s Requiem and Mahler’s 8th Symphony, as well as participating in the Eurovision Song Contest.
The choir is a regular guest at the Norwegian Military Tattoo and also holds a-cappella concerts both at home and abroad. The choir has during the last decade toured Finland, Hungary, Russia and England. This is the first time the choir tours Palestine.
